I work in the AI Center of Excellence where I help teams all over IBM design and implement AI solutions for real business problems.<\/p>\n<p>Before that I kept the IBM cloud running smoothly. Over 900 developers, 12 regions, and 36 data centers I kept the cloud stable, secure, and fast as the architect of release engineering and testing.<\/p>\n<p>I lead the teams that develop the tools, processes, and practices to ensure the IBM cloud is a platform you want to bet your billion dollar business on.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer of 2018 I wanted to show the cloud team how much we&#8217;d all accomplished. Instead of describing the cloud, I showed what it could do&#8230; with kittens. I joined SilverStream in 1998. Silverstream was purchased by Novell, Novell was purchased by NetIQ, and NetIQ was purchased by Micro Focus.<\/p>\n<p>I worked on the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/microfocus\/cx\">Micro Focus CX Application Framework<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microfocus.com\/solutions\/identity-and-access-management\/\">Micro Focus Identity and Access Management<\/a>. Before that I&#8217;ve worked on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.netiq.com\/products\/identity-manager\/\">Novell Identity Manager<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.netiq.com\/products\/sentinel\/\">Novell Sentinel<\/a>, Novell Compliance Management Platform, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.novell.com\/coolsolutions\/dirxml\/designer.html\">Novell Identity Manager Designer<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.novell.com\/extend\/workbench\/\">Novell exteNd Workbench<\/a>, and many more.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jsondiff.com\">JSONDiff.com<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jsondiff.com\">JSONDiff.com<\/a> is a little project that turned out big. It&#8217;s a semantic compare tool for JSON documents that finds the differences you care about. It&#8217;s a simple tool that does just what you want and is very popular.<\/p>\n<h2>Smashing Magazine<\/h2>\n<p>I do a lot of technical writing. Most of my writing since early 2011 shows up at <a href=\"http:\/\/coding.smashingmagazine.com\/author\/zack-grossbart\/\">Smashing Magazine<\/a>. Drag and drop, quick edit, and view your entire blog in this easy to use intuitive interface.<\/p>\n<p>The WordPress Editorial calendar is currently running on over 50,000 blogs including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.copyblogger.com\/editorial-calendar\/\">Copyblogger.com<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chrisbrogan.com\/use-an-editorial-calendar\/\">Chris Brogan.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/zgrossbart.github.com\/bridges\/\">The Seven Bridges of K\u00f6nigsberg<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/zgrossbart.github.com\/bridges\/\">The Seven Bridges of K\u00f6nigsberg<\/a> is my first big iOS project. It&#8217;s a puzzle game inspired by a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seven_Bridges_of_K%C3%B6nigsberg\">centuries old math puzzle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>7 Bridges is fun, challenging, and all open source. You can build it yourself for free.<\/p>\n<h2>Web animations<\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been working on a series of open source web animations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/coding.smashingmagazine.com\/2012\/02\/22\/web-drawing-throwdown-paper-processing-raphael\/\">Web-Drawing Throwdown: Paper.js Vs. Processing.js Vs.
